Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Lokstraat, a local-SEO and AI-visibility platform operated by Brontara LLC ("Brontara", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Lokstraat you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Lokstraat provides local-SEO and AI-visibility (GEO/AEO) auditing, tracking, reporting, and related tools. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for any business you add.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans and usage credits are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Usage that exceeds plan limits may incur overage charges as described at checkout. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, access data you are not authorized to access, or use Lokstraat to violate any law or the terms of any connected third-party service (including Google). You will only connect accounts and analyze businesses you are authorized to manage.

5. Third-party services

Lokstraat integrates with third-party services such as Google, DataForSEO, Firecrawl, and Stripe. Your use of those integrations is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions. Connecting an account authorizes us to access the relevant data on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Lokstraat snippet (lok.js) — site modification license

By installing the Lokstraat snippet ("lok.js") on any website, you represent and warrant that you own, control, or have all necessary rights and permissions to modify and administer the target website and its domain. You grant Brontara LLC a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to dynamically deliver, modify, and execute approved content changes (including titles, meta descriptions, structured data, and approved content blocks) directly within site visitors' browsers via the snippet. Only changes you have explicitly approved in the Lokstraat platform are ever delivered, and you may disable the snippet at any time using the per-site or global kill-switch.

The snippet is provided "as is." We do not guarantee any outcome from snippet-applied changes and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, are not liable for lost profits, lost SEO rankings, diminished search traffic, or business interruptions resulting from snippet execution; the limitation of liability in Section 9 applies. We will notify affected customers without undue delay after confirming unauthorized access to or modification of the snippet delivery infrastructure that may reasonably affect customer websites.

7. Intellectual property and your data

We own the Lokstraat platform, software, and content. You retain ownership of the business data and content you provide, and you grant us the rights needed to operate the service for you.

8. Disclaimers

Lokstraat is provided "as is" and "as available." Search rankings, AI visibility, and other outcomes depend on factors outside our control; we do not guarantee any specific result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brontara will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Lokstraat at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the service. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time and will revise the effective date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
