Privacy Policy
Effective August 11, 2026
Lokstraat is a local-SEO and AI-visibility (GEO/AEO) platform operated by Brontara LLC ("Brontara", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Lokstraat you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email, organization, and authentication credentials.
- Business information you provide — the business names, websites, locations, and categories you add to audit.
- Audit and report data — results we generate for the businesses you analyze.
- Usage and billing data — feature usage, credit consumption, and payment records (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers).
2. Connected Google accounts
When you choose to connect a Google account, we request your explicit consent through Google's OAuth flow and access only the following, read-only unless noted, solely to power features you ask for inside Lokstraat:
- Google Analytics (read-only) — traffic source/medium and conversion metrics, to show your AI-referral and search attribution.
- Google Search Console (read-only) — search performance data, to show your search visibility.
- Google Business Profile (manage) — your business listing details and reviews, to audit your local presence and, only with your approval, publish updates such as posts, business information, and review replies.
We only ever access profiles and properties that the connecting user already manages.
3. Google API Services — Limited Use
Lokstraat's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing Lokstraat features you ask us to run, such as Search Console reporting, Analytics attribution, Business Profile auditing, and approved Business Profile publishing actions.
We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, use it to determine creditworthiness, or use it to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or secure Lokstraat, comply with applicable law, or with your explicit consent. Humans do not read Google user data except with your permission, for security and abuse prevention, to comply with law, or after the data has been aggregated and de-identified.
4. How we use information
To provide, maintain, secure, and improve Lokstraat; to generate the audits, reports, and recommendations you request; to process billing; and to communicate with you about your account.
5. Lokstraat snippet (lok.js)
If you enable the Lokstraat snippet, your website will make a periodic request to Brontara indicating that the snippet is active. This request contains only a site identifier and no personal data. The snippet sets no cookies, uses no local storage, and does not collect, process, or track any data about your website's visitors.
6. Service providers
We share data only with vendors that help us operate the service — for example Google (APIs), DataForSEO and Firecrawl (search and site data), Stripe (payments), and our hosting and error-monitoring providers. They may process data only on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
7. Data retention and your choices
You can disconnect any connected Google account at any time from Lokstraat's Integrations page or at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which revokes our access. You may request export or deletion of your account data by contacting us. We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law.
8. Security
We protect data with encryption in transit, encrypted storage of sensitive credentials, access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
9. Children
Lokstraat is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time and will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated through the service.
