Lokstraat User Guide
Lokstraat helps your local business get found — in Google’s local results and in the answers AI assistants give when people ask for a business like yours. Every audit asks ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity (each searching the web) and checks Google’s AI Overview and AI Mode, then tells you plainly whether you were named, whether you were recommended, and what to fix. This guide walks you through it, from your first audit to running an agency.
What Lokstraat does for you
You add your business, then run an audit. Lokstraat checks your website, business information, structured data, Google Business Profile, search rankings and AI visibility: whether AI assistants that search the web actually name and recommend you when someone asks “best emergency dentist near me.” Failing checks come with a written fix you can apply yourself.
Lokstraat only reports what it measured. Anything it couldn’t measure in a run is listed as not measured and left out of your score, never guessed.
Who it’s for
Local business owners managing one or a few locations, and agencies managing many clients. Agencies also get client folders, team collaboration, white-label branding and shareable proposals.
What’s live today
This is the current production capability set. Availability still depends on your plan and on which data sources are available; when a source is unavailable, Lokstraat says so instead of inventing a result.
Easy and Expert modes
Easy (the default) shows ten pages: Overview, Action Plan, Rankings, Search Visibility, AI Visibility, Reviews, Listings, Content, Competitors and Reports. Expert adds the specialist tools: Google Business Profile, Geo-grid, Keywords, Technical, Backlinks, Guided Playbook, Schedules, Agent, Forecast, Command, Locations, Clients and Proposals. Switch from the account menu. Easy mode also lists the paid pages your plan includes (Keywords, Schedules, Clients, Proposals, Guided Playbook, Forecast) under Your plan.
Audits that only score what they measured
On-page checks, business identity, structured data, Google Business Profile listing, search rank, AI visibility and (optionally) directory citations. Dimensions that couldn’t be measured are listed and excluded from the score.
AI visibility
Web-search answers from ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity plus Google’s AI Overview and AI Mode (AI Answers runs can also ask Gemini), with mention and recommendation shown separately, the sources each answer cited, and the directories AI answers lean on.
Google Business Profile, read-only
Lokstraat reads your profile to audit it. Changes to your profile — posts, replies, edits — are switched off in Lokstraat; you make them on Google yourself.
Agency operations
Schedules, bulk audits, client folders, proposals, team collaboration, the guided playbook, forecasts, white-label branding, custom domains, branded email and governance controls on eligible plans.
Human approval by design
Audits and evidence are read-only. Fixes, content drafts, citation tasks and other consequential actions stop at a named review or confirmation step.
Billing & account controls
Location-based plans, usage and overage warnings, Stripe subscriptions, team access, alerts, privacy and data choices, and public Terms, Privacy, Refunds and Contact links.
Key concepts (the 60-second version)
Business (location)
A single business you’re optimizing — its name, website, city, category and phone. Everything hangs off it. The business selector in the top bar sets which one every page shows. Your plan includes a set number of locations; additional locations are $35/month each.
Audit
A full scan of one business. Produces an overall score (0–100) from the dimensions it measured, the subscores, a list of checks, and a fix for each failing check.
Not measured
When a source can’t be read in a run, that dimension is listed under Not measured this run and excluded from the score rather than estimated.
AI visibility
How often AI assistants that search the web name you (mention) and recommend you when answering local questions. Shown per engine, never pooled into one number.
Usage
Audits and AI checks draw on a monthly allowance of searches. Warnings appear before you run out.
Plan
SMB, Growth, Agency or Enterprise — sets your included locations, monthly searches and which tools you can use.
Getting started
- Open your secure access link. If you bought SMB or Growth on brontara.co/lokstraat, the link is emailed to the address you used at checkout. Agency and Enterprise are by invitation: your administrator sends the link. Either way it is a one-time email link from Brontara Access <[email protected]> and expires in 5 days. On the confirmation screen, choose Continue to Lokstraat; that opens only your Lokstraat workspace. No password is needed.
- Follow the short onboarding tour. On your first visit Lokstraat walks you through the business selector, the business form, where your customers are, your AI questions, audit setup and recommendations. It never starts an audit or changes anything. Restart it any time from the account menu (Restart onboarding tour).
- Add your business. Use Add business on the Overview (or Expert → Manage → Locations) and enter the name, website, city, primary category and phone. Accurate details give a more accurate audit.
- Run an audit. On the Overview, choose Run an audit. It takes a minute or two and the screen updates as it works.
- Read your results. Open the audit from Reports, review your score, what was and wasn’t measured, and the fixes. Then work through the Action Plan, which lists your highest-impact recommendations first.
Set up before your first audit
These details decide where and how Lokstraat measures your business. The more of them are right, the more accurate your audit is.
- Business name, website, city, state, primary category and phone (Locations, or Settings → Business profile). The category and the city plus state decide where Lokstraat checks your search ranking. Without a state it checks all of the United States.
- How customers find you (Settings → Business profile): in your area, across a country, or worldwide, plus your customers’ country and language. Left unset, Lokstraat assumes a local business in the United States, in English.
- Where your customers are (Settings → Business profile, local businesses): the towns you serve, with up to eight marked as core.
- Services, one per line (Settings → Business profile). They shape the suggested AI questions and which of your pages count as service pages.
- Your AI questions (AI Visibility → Plan audit questions). Approve your own plan; without one, audits use five general questions and weekly tracking can’t run.
- Optional: run a citation scan and a competitor scan first for a fuller picture, and after your audit choose Use this on any details Google suggests.
Google connections
You don’t need to connect Google to use Lokstraat. The current state of each Google connection:
Google Business Profile
Optional and read-only: Lokstraat reads your profile to audit completeness, categories and suspension risk, and to pull your reviews. Connect it from the Google Business Profile page (Expert). Lokstraat does not post, reply or edit your profile.
Google Search Console
New connections are paused. The Connections page shows a notice instead of a Connect button.
Google Analytics
No longer used. Lokstraat doesn’t request Analytics access, and any previously stored Analytics connection data has been deleted.
Understanding your audit & scores
Open an audit from Reports. You’ll see:
- Overall score (0–100) — the weighted average of the dimensions that were actually measured.
- Subscores — On-page, Business identity (name, address, phone), Structured data, Listings and Search rank, each shown as its own tile. The overall score weights them On-page 25%, Business identity 15%, Structured data 10%, Google Business Profile listing 20% and Search rank 20%, plus directory citations 10% when you include them for that business. AI visibility is reported separately and is not part of the overall score.
- Not measured this run — any dimension that couldn’t be read, with the reason. It is left out of the score, not estimated.
- Checks — each one Passed, Failed, Not verified when the evidence wasn’t available, or Not checked when it couldn’t run this time. A check that wasn’t run is left out of the score, not estimated, and the audit shows why next to it.
- Suggested from Google — business details Lokstraat found on Google. Choose Use this or Dismiss; the audit never overwrites your business information on its own.
- Search readiness and Search-rank evidence (local pack and organic results).
- AI visibility — see the next section.
- Fixes — a recommended fix for each failing check. Fixes written without the AI advice service are labelled Standard recommendation.
- Run diagnostics — what each step of the audit did (plain sentences in Easy mode, full detail in Expert).
AI visibility in your audit
Each audit asks local questions (for example “best roofer in Fort Walton Beach”) of ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity, each searching the web as a customer would, and reads Google’s AI Overview and AI Mode for the same kind of question. AI Answers runs can also ask Gemini: you choose the engines for each run.
- Mentioned and recommended are counted separately, per engine. You only count as recommended when the answer actually names you.
- Only web-search answers count. AI visibility is shown per engine and is not part of the overall score. If no web-search engine answers, it is shown as not measured for that audit — there is no estimated fallback number.
- An answer that couldn’t be read is shown as could not be read and isn’t scored — never counted as “not mentioned.”
- Google AI Overview is scored only when Google showed an overview with text. Otherwise you’ll see “No AI Overview shown for this question,” “could not be read,” or “Couldn’t check this run.”
- Sources — the sites each answer cited, grouped (business directories, review sites, news, your own site and so on), plus a Most-cited sites list: the places worth getting listed and reviewed on.
- What AI models know (no web search) — when an engine answers from model memory only, it’s shown in this separate panel and never counted toward your score.
AI Visibility page (AI Answers)
The AI Visibility page (titled AI Answers) runs your own set of questions against web-search answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude, separately from audits.
- Run AI Answers — the button at the top of the page opens the run panel. Leave the box empty to ask the five default questions the panel lists, or enter your own (one per line, up to five), then select Confirm and run observation. The default questions follow Settings → How customers find you: *local* asks about your city, *country* about your country, *worldwide* names no place. They are built from your category and services and never name your business. A local business that serves several towns lists them in Settings → Where your customers are (town, county and state; mark up to eight as core): the five questions then rotate through the core towns, each run continuing where the last one stopped, and the page shows results By town. The run shows queued, then running, and the page refreshes when it completes; choose which AI engines to ask (at least two): each answer costs ChatGPT 3, Claude 3, Gemini 5 or Perplexity 1 usage units, and only answers that come back are charged. Your default engines are under Settings → AI Answers engines (owners and admins); the run panel shows the total before you confirm. On the SMB plan the default is ChatGPT and Perplexity: 20 units for five questions.
- Manage prompts — opens the same panel to edit the questions before running.
- GEO visibility — the Overview tile shows the latest completed run: how often AI answers name you and cite your site.
- Results per engine — named or not, and which sources were cited. Engines that didn’t answer are shown as unanswered, not “not mentioned.”
- AI citation index — how often your business is mentioned and cited across AI answers, with AI search demand, when that data is available.
Weekly tracking
Weekly tracking asks your approved AI questions every week, one answer per engine, so you build a record over time instead of relying on a single audit. Find it on the AI Visibility page under Plan audit questions, below your question list. It appears only when your plan includes it; Lokstraat proposes the first questions from your main services and home town, and nothing is asked until you choose Switch weekly tracking on.
What is asked
- Up to 28 approved questions every 4 weeks: 4 checked weekly, the rest once each cycle. The Fixed questions are asked every week; the Rotating ones are asked six a week, each once per cycle.
- With fewer rotating questions the cycle is shorter, and the last week of a cycle can ask fewer. Lokstraat never fills a week with questions you have not approved.
- Each week asks ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity (each searching the web), Google’s AI Overview and Google AI Mode.
- Included: 10 questions a week (50 engine answers) for this location. Not taken from your plan credits. Weekly tracking never stops because credits ran out on other work.
- A missed week (for example an outage) is not doubled up later: the next week asks the same questions, then the rotation carries on.
- This week and Next up show what the coming runs will ask; Weekly tracking runs lists every run and its result.
Changing which questions are fixed
- Choose Make fixed next to a rotating question.
- Choose Rotate this one next to the fixed question it replaces. The question you rotate takes the other one’s place in the rotation.
- Choose Save the swap. It takes effect at the next weekly run and is free. Only an owner or admin can swap.
A swap starts a new series of the fixed results. Series are shown separately and never compared with each other. Every question keeps its own history; a question you remove from your list is shown as Retired (history kept).
Reading the results
- Sampled observations: one answer per engine per question per week (fixed) or per cycle (rotating). Your own searches can differ by place, account and time.
- Last 4 weeks — per engine, how often the answers named and recommended you, from scheduled answers only (re-checks are not included), with how old the answers are and how many were received and read. It is not a comparison between weeks.
- Fixed questions, week by week — each fixed question is one answer; with 4 questions, one changed answer moves the result by 25 points.
- Rotating questions — each question’s answer this cycle, with its date and age. A question not yet asked in the current cycle shows Not asked this cycle; a question that gave the same reading in two cycles in a row is labelled Same result in two samples.
- Answers that could not be read are shown as Not received or No AI answer shown and are never counted as “not named.”
Re-check now
Tick questions in either list and choose Re-check now to ask them again straight away, for example after a fix. Lokstraat shows the cost first: 1 credit per engine answer, taken from your plan credits, and refused before anything is asked if you do not have enough. If a re-check fails, its credits are returned. Re-checks are shown on their own, labelled Re-check, with every attempt listed. They never replace the weekly answers or change Last 4 weeks.
Using stored answers in an audit
When a business has weekly answers from the last 4 weeks, starting an audit (Run an audit on the Overview page, or Run audit on Locations) first shows their dates (oldest to newest) and how many answers each engine was asked, received and read. Then choose:
- Use stored scheduled answers from {dates} — the audit reuses those answers and asks no AI engine. They are frozen with the audit, so the report never changes later. The report labels them Stored scheduled answers with their measurement dates, separate from when the site checks ran.
- Fresh AI read — the audit asks the AI engines again as usual, using the audit’s AI scan allowance.
Overview
Your home page for the selected business: Audit score, Local search foundations, AEO readiness, GEO visibility and Average map rank, plus Run an audit and Review recommendations.
Action Plan
The highest-impact recommendations from the selected business’s latest completed audit, in priority order and in plain English. Work top to bottom, then re-run the audit to see what moved. Available on every plan.
Rankings
Where Geo-grid shows where you rank across town today, Rankings (the Rank tracker) shows how your ranking moves over time for a keyword, charting your average and best local rank.
Rank history is sampled from completed geo-grid runs, so the chart becomes useful after at least two scans. Select a point to inspect the retained grid, competitors and annotations when that evidence exists. Check live search-result features runs the business query against live search evidence (local pack, organic results) without changing the saved history.
Search Visibility
Search and Google Business Profile performance for the selected business, with links to Open rank tracker and Open Google Business.
Reviews
Bring in your Google reviews with Get reviews from Google (needs a connected Google Business Profile) and see them alongside the selected business’s review evidence. Reply drafts come from the Agent, which queues them for your approval.
Listings
Listings compares your business record (name, address, phone) with what directories show — inconsistent listings quietly hurt local rankings. Run a citation scan, review listing issues, and work through a manual directory task queue (you confirm it by typing SUBMIT CITATIONS; your data doesn’t leave Lokstraat).
From Locations, choose whether directory citations count toward the score, are measured separately, or are excluded for each business.
Content
The Content page creates draft content for the selected business and topic: an answer-first, schema-rich page per topic, written to be cited when someone asks an AI about your service.
- Enter a topic (a service you offer or a question customers ask). Optionally choose Analyze this topic first to see provider evidence.
- Confirm and create the draft. It stays inside Lokstraat.
- Review it. To change it, edit the text yourself after you copy it out, or create a new draft.
- Publish it yourself on your website. Lokstraat does not publish automatically.
- Refresh measurements later to see whether it helped.
Competitors Growth
See who you’re really competing with locally, compare evidence side by side, and find keyword gaps (with Create brief) where competitors are winning.
Reports
Every audit for the selected business. Open one to read it in full, download the PDF, email it, or share a branded link (white-label, Agency plan). On plans with Proposals, Create proposal starts a proposal from the audit.
Emailing and sharing a report
- Who can: owners and admins, on plans with white-label (Agency and above).
- Email needs your own sending address: connect it under Settings → Branding → Send from your own email (SMTP) first. The email goes out from that address under your brand name.
- What arrives: a link to the branded report page (which has a PDF download). There is no note field, and it is not a PDF attachment; to send the PDF itself, download it and attach it yourself. Sending the email also turns on the report’s share link.
- The link is public to anyone who has it, until you choose Stop sharing on the report.
Google Business Profile
In Expert mode, connect your profile read-only to audit its completeness, get category suggestions, check suspension risk and pull reviews. You choose which profile belongs to which business.
Geo-grid All plans
A map grid showing how your local ranking changes across an area — you can rank #1 on one side of town and nowhere on the other. Each cell uses one usage unit for each keyword: a 5 × 5 grid with 2 keywords uses 50.
Keywords Growth
Generate keyword ideas from a seed term and see the terms your site ranks for (Live, Lost or All rankings) with position, volume, estimated traffic, intent and difficulty. Positions and traffic are observations, not guarantees.
Technical
On-page and technical checks of your website. Lokstraat reads your site’s public pages through its crawling providers, so this works without connecting anything. When available, a page inspection adds HTTP status, word count, H1 count and title.
Backlinks
Which domains link to your site and the anchor text used. Read-only evidence: Lokstraat never contacts, removes or disavows linking sites.
Guided Playbook Agency
A fixed six-step plan for the things that help AI assistants find and trust you: structured data, consistent name, address and phone, directory citations, a Wikidata item, Wikipedia coverage and content for your top topics. Each step links to the tool that does it, steps your business already passes are marked done, and your AI Answers runs show the trend. On other plans, the Action Plan gives you the prioritized recommendations.
Schedules Growth
Re-run audits and scans on a recurring basis so your scores stay current. Also reachable from Reports (Manage audit schedules).
Agent All plans
An on-demand assistant (5 usage units per run) that reviews your data and queues the actions that would leave Lokstraat, such as review-reply drafts, for your approval. Nothing is posted for you: Google Business Profile changes are switched off, and you post approved replies on Google yourself.
Forecast Agency
Projects where your scores and rankings are heading, with confidence bands, based on your own audit history — the more audits you run over time, the sharper it gets. Directional guidance, not a guarantee.
Command All plans
Shows what the wider web and AI models can learn about your business — your entity presence (for example Wikidata) and structured-data signals. You can’t edit an AI’s training data, but you can strengthen the signals that make AI more likely to cite you.
Locations
Add and manage every business, and choose per business whether Google Business Profile and directory citations count toward the score, are measured separately, or are excluded. Your plan sets how many locations you can add; additional locations are $35/month each.
Fixes
Every failing check comes with a recommended fix. Lokstraat never changes your website or external profiles itself: copy the fix, make the change, and mark it applied.
- Apply — mark a fix applied once you’ve made the change (timestamped).
- Dismiss — set aside a fix that doesn’t apply to you.
- Resolve — mark a fix resolved once a later audit shows the check passes. Fixes don’t close on their own.
For some technical problems Lokstraat also prepares a finished fix package you can install or hand to your website provider — see Installing fixes below.
Installing fixes
For seven technical problems Lokstraat prepares a finished change — not just advice: let search engines index a page, allow crawling in robots.txt, point the canonical tag at the right page, shorten a redirect chain, fix a sitemap address that does not load, add an XML sitemap, and repair structured data that cannot be read. You find them on the audit page under Fixes you can install. Lokstraat never changes your website itself: you (or your website provider) install the change, and Lokstraat checks the live page afterwards.
1. Confirm your business details
- Check what Lokstraat has on file. On the audit page, under Start here, choose Check business details. It opens this business in Locations (also under Expert → Manage → Locations). Check the name, website, address, city and phone. Packages and checks use these details.
- Review suggestions from Google. After an audit, the audit page may show Suggested from Google with values found on Google Maps for fields you left blank. Choose Use this to save a value, or Dismiss to ignore it. Lokstraat never changes your business details unless you choose to.
- Keep them current. If something changes (a new phone number, a move), update it in Locations and run a new audit.
2. Approve a fix
- Prepare the package. Under Fixes you can install, choose Prepare package next to a problem. For a sitemap address that does not load you choose first: redirect it to a live page, or remove it from the sitemap.
- Preview it. Choose Preview to see the change before and after, pick what your website is built with (hand-built, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or Shopify) for the exact steps, and read how to undo it. Where a platform cannot make the change, the preview says so.
- Approve or reject. An owner or admin chooses Approve (or Reject). Only an approved package can be downloaded, copied, shared or sent.
- If it says “Out of date — do not install”. The page changed, the problem went away, or a newer version replaced it. Do not install it; prepare it again if the problem is still there.
3. Send a package to your website provider
- Download fix package — a ZIP with a README (the change, steps for each platform, how to undo it, how Lokstraat checks it), the finished files, a note for your provider and the check Lokstraat will run.
- Copy instructions for your website provider — the note, the change and the steps in one paste, for an email or a support ticket.
- Create a link for your provider — a download link that works for 14 days. It is shown once; you can withdraw it at any time, and it stops working if the package goes out of date.
- Send to provider — Lokstraat emails the link from your own sending email (Settings). This is switched on for pilot workspaces only.
When the change is in place, choose It is installed.
4. After a check: what the results mean
After It is installed, Lokstraat checks the live page at about 1 hour, 24 hours and 48 hours. You can also choose Check installation at any time. Every check is kept in the package's History.
- Passed — the change is on the live page (an equivalent change counts too).
- Failed — Lokstraat read a fresh copy of the page and the change is not there. Check the package's README under “If it fails”.
- Inconclusive — Lokstraat could not read the page properly: the site was down or slow, it blocked Lokstraat, it served an old cached copy, or it asked for a login. Clear your site's or CDN's cache, make sure the page is public, and choose Check installation again.
- Needs your review — still inconclusive after the three scheduled checks. Check the page yourself; if it looks right, contact us below.
- Check pending — the page returned “not found”. You get an alert straight away; Lokstraat checks again 24 hours later before treating the fix as failed, in case the page was only briefly unavailable.
- Changed since it passed — a fix that passed no longer passes on two checks in a row (for example after a theme or plugin update). You get one alert; reinstall the change from the same package.
Questions about a fix? Email [email protected] with your business name and which fix it is, or ask in our Discord.
Clients Growth
Group businesses into client folders and audit a whole client in one go. Shown in Expert mode on plans that include it.
Proposals Growth
Build branded proposals with your packages and pricing, then share a public link (no login for your prospect) or export a PDF. Set your agency name and package lineup in Settings → Proposals & Pricing — both are required before the first proposal. Start one from any audit with Create proposal.
Team Growth
Invite teammates from Settings → Users & roles. Choose Create invite link, then copy the link and send it to your teammate yourself; Lokstraat does not email it. They join through the accept-invite screen. Team members are not billed separately. Growth includes 4 users, Agency 8 and Enterprise 13, counting the owner; once they are all in use, new invitations are refused.
Branding (white-label) Agency
Set your brand name, logo and colours so proposals, shared reports and this guide carry your brand. Branding settings live in Settings → Branding.
- Logo: an https:// web address of a PNG or JPEG image, at most 2,000 × 2,000 pixels and 1 MB. Lokstraat fetches it and embeds its own copy in reports and proposals; other formats (such as SVG) are not used, and the brand name shows instead.
- Colours: chosen with the colour picker, saved as hex values such as
#2dd4bf.
Custom domain
- Add your domain (like
app.youragency.com) and save it. - Add the CNAME Lokstraat shows you at your DNS provider.
- Wait for verification — the status moves from Add DNS to activate to Verifying to Live once DNS propagates and the certificate is issued.
Send from your own email (SMTP)
- Enter your SMTP details — host, port (587 for most providers), username, password and From address. Leave the password blank on a later save to keep the stored one.
- Send a test. A successful test marks the settings verified.
Settings
Settings (Business settings) holds the business profile form and tabs for Locations, Connections, Notifications, Tracking, Privacy & data and Plans & billing, plus Users & roles, Proposals & Pricing, Branding and Data & governance on plans that include them. Open it from Edit information or the Connections page. The account menu (top right) has the Easy/Expert switch, Restart onboarding tour, Billing & usage and Sign out.
Team members
Team members can sign in, review audits, collaborate on fixes and manage the work your plan allows. Your subscription is priced by business locations, and users are not billed separately. Each plan includes a set number of users, counting the owner: SMB 1, Growth 4, Agency 8, Enterprise 13. Once they are all in use, new invitations are refused.
Alerts All plans
Lokstraat notifies you about things like failed audits, scores crossing a threshold and usage levels, with an unread badge so nothing slips by.
AI Governance Agency
How Lokstraat’s AI is governed. The controls are informed by the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and ISO/IEC 42001; Lokstraat is not certified against either. Open it from Settings → Data & governance or Settings → Export your data.
- Conformance map — clause-by-clause status with evidence.
- AI-system register — every AI system Lokstraat runs, its risk level, oversight and data use.
- Compliance event log — a tamper-evident, hash-chained record; Verify chain checks it end to end.
- Export my data — one JSON file with your organization details, members, locations, up to 500 audit summaries (score and date), a review count, consent records and owner-asserted records. It does not include full audit detail, review text or fixes.
- Consent ledger and Fairness assessment.
Privacy, data & AI training
Brontara improves its own models on de-identified audit data. Your data is never sold or used to train anyone else’s models. Business name, address, phone, website, emails, map coordinates and competitor names are replaced before anything is used; city and region are kept.
- Open Account → Privacy & data choices (every plan) to review cookie use, opt in or out of de-identified model improvement, and clear preferences saved on this device.
- Opting out excludes your audits from future training sets and is recorded in the consent ledger. It cannot remove data from a model already trained — which is why identifiers are stripped first.

Adding locations and tracked businesses
- More business locations: on Plans & billing, an owner sets Additional locations and chooses Update locations. The page shows how many you use and how many your plan allows. You cannot go below the locations you already have; delete one first.
- More weekly-tracked businesses: $5 per location a month, from the Weekly tracking panel (see Weekly tracking).
- Both need an active subscription. Stripe prorates the change on your next invoice.
- If your subscription ends, both add-ons end with it: your location and tracking limits go back to the plan's own.
Usage units (credits) by action
One usage unit equals one credit. A geo-grid charges per cell for each keyword; bulk actions charge for each unit performed.

FAQ
Do I need to connect Google?
No. You get a full website and AI-visibility audit without it. A read-only Google Business Profile connection adds profile and review data. New Search Console connections are paused, and Google Analytics is no longer used.
What makes Lokstraat different from a normal SEO tool?
AI visibility. Lokstraat checks whether ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity — searching the web — and Google’s AI Overview and AI Mode actually name and recommend you (AI Answers runs can add Gemini), and which sources they cite. It never fills a gap with a guess.
Can Lokstraat tell whether AI assistants recommend my business?
Yes. Lokstraat checks whether AI assistants name your business and recommend it when answering customer-style questions about businesses like yours. It shows those outcomes separately, along with the sources cited. Checks can cover ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, plus Google AI Overview and AI Mode; coverage depends on the run. Results reflect what was measured, and unavailable checks are marked not measured.
Why does my audit say “not measured” or “Not checked”?
Lokstraat only reports what it actually measured. “Not measured” means a whole source couldn’t be read during the run (for example an AI engine didn’t answer); “Not checked” means a single check couldn’t run. Either way it is left out of the score instead of estimated, and the audit shows the recorded reason next to each one. The usual reasons:
- A detail is missing. The phone, name, address or website is missing on your Google listing or on the location in Lokstraat, so the two can’t be compared. Add it, then run the audit again.
- Your site couldn’t be read. The site was down or slow, it blocked Lokstraat, robots.txt couldn’t be read, it asked for a login, or no website is set for the location. Make sure the site is public and the website address is set, then run the audit again.
- There was nothing to check. For example, no structured data (JSON-LD) was found on the checked pages, so the structured-data checks don’t apply yet.
- A source didn’t answer. An AI engine or a data provider didn’t respond during that run. Running the audit again usually fills it in.
Will Lokstraat change my Google profile or post for me?
No. Changes to your Google Business Profile are switched off in Lokstraat. It drafts content and replies for you to publish yourself.
How many people can use my account?
Your plan includes a set number of users, counting the owner: SMB 1, Growth 4, Agency 8, Enterprise 13. Users are not billed separately. On Growth and above, invite them from Settings → Users & roles.
